Jason Dubroy

The Commercery

Jason Dubroy is one of Canada's most prominent omnicommerce marketing experts. As a popular speaker and consultant, he provides commerce strategy, opportunity insight, and retail futures work to agencies, brands, retailers, and trade associations across North America.

He helped found the Shopper Marketing Forum conference in 2010, was its co-chair in 2011, and has twice hosted the Shopper Innovation Awards.

His latest role was as SVP Commerce & Experience at Mosaic, part of the Acosta Group, the largest retail marketing agency in North America. Counting Loblaws, Walmart, Nestlé, AB Inbev, Keurig Dr. Pepper, Mondelēz and Google as clients -as well as nearly 15 other leading retailers and FMCG’s in almost every category- Jason led creative commerce campaigns along the entire shopper experience, from retail media online to innovation onshelf.

Prior to Mosaic, he spent 10 years as Managing Director of ShopperDDB/TracyLocke, part of the Omnicom Retail Group, the world’s preeminent centre of excellence in commerce, retail, and shopper marketing. He provided retail insight, strategy, and opportunity innovation to PepsiCo, KraftHeinz, Volkswagen, Pfizer, 3M, Kellogg’s, Clorox, Campbell’s Soup, Rogers Retail, Nordstrom and many other tier-1 clients.

As an in-demand speaker and subject matter expert, Jason has provided retail analysis, keynotes, and panel moderation at conferences internationally, and is frequently quoted in the media including the BBC, CTV News, and The Globe and Mail. He frequently contributes to Strategy Magazine, and has been featured in many publications, including Prof. Kit Yarrow's "Decoding the New Consumer Mind.”
